What is the VTAC?

The Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre (VTAC) of Prescott and Russell is a healthcare service that helps you access care when:

you do not have a family physician or nurse practitioner (NP); or
your health concern requires care sooner than the appointment date offered by your family physician or NP.

The VTAC helps direct you to the most appropriate service, based on your situation, so you receive care at the right place and at the right time.
